Pre-Install Steps
Site assessment & material acclimatization: room moisture check.
Dismantling process: The work area is completely cleared. All existing floor coverings (carpeting, wood flooring, vinyl), along with securing strips and staples, must be systematically removed.
Subfloor preparation: Inspecting the subfloor for structural damage, squeaking, or unevenness. Sanding down high spots, removing irregularities, and filling depressions to ensure a perfectly level surface.

Actual Flooring Installation
Laminate & LVP: Installed as a floating floor using a click-and-lock tongue-and-groove system, with proper expansion gaps left along the walls.
Hardwood: Planks usually get nailed down to a plywood subfloor, or glued down to a concrete slab.
Tile: Thinset mortar is spread onto the subfloor, tiles are laid using spacers for even spacing, and the joints are filled with grout.

Finishing Details
The installation of baseboards and profiles is required to conceal the necessary expansion gaps. This is followed by final finishing and cleanup.
